It was a very hard job to determine the current top NBA player, but after some careful examination of all the candidates for the title of the Top NBA player, LeBron James was a clear choice. He is just clearly better than the other players I term of all-around impact on the game. In his professional career, he has won three National Basketball Association (NBA) Championships in 2012, 2013 and one in 2016, also he won many more awards, medals, and titles.
History of LeBron
LeBron James was born in Akron, Ohio on December 30, 1984. His mother was only 16 years old when he was born, but she successfully raised him by herself. As you can imagine his early life was hard, so his mother allowed him to move to Frank Walker’s home and live there because she wanted what is best for him. He started playing basketball at a young age and had smaller success on a national level with his team. What really impacted his career was the High school years. When he was a freshman LeBron averaged 21 points, everyone instantly recognized his talent. During his senior year, LeBron had an average of 31 points that was 10 points more than when he was a freshman.
His professional career started in 2003 when he was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers as the overall pick for the NBA draft. During this year, he performed better than anyone averaging 20.9 points 5.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game. At the end of the season, he was named the NBA Rookie of the Year. Sadly, even with LeBron on their side, they failed to make the playoffs.
In 2004-05 he has earned the NBA All-star game selection. In one match against Toronto Raptors, he set a new single-game points record for Cleveland Cavaliers of 56 points. In 2007 his average started to decline to around 27 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 6 assists. Many analysts have said it can be because of the lack of focus or effort. But they managed to make the playoffs and they make it all the way to the finals where they were defeated by San Antonio Spurs. In the end of the 2007-08 season for the second time, he was named the all-star game MVP.
In 2010 after departing as a free agent he officially became a member of the Miami Heat team. People didn’t like that decision and the media made him look like a villain. When he played against the Cavaliers for the first time the whole crowd booed him whenever he even touched the ball. However, he managed to score 38 points and to lead the Miami Heat to a win.
They got to the finals when they were stopped by the Dallas Mavericks. After that in 2012 and 2013 still playing for Miami Heat he managed to win two NBA championships. In 2014 he came back to Cleveland Cavaliers and still plays to this day. With the Cavaliers, he won the NBA championship in 2016.
